Good morning, I'm avoiding getting out of bed so here's a birthday card I made a few months ago! I had a lot of fun trying to make this ice cream sundae stamp look different by colouring it various ways with my @flyingtiger Alcohol Markers 🥰 thought the marble papers from a @theworksstores paper pad were the perfect match for the background! 💡 #cardmaker #cardmaking #handmadecards #handmadecard #birthdaycard #icecream #alcoholmarkers #colouring #stamping #papercraft #papercrafter #papercrafts #craftblogger

Here's a card I made for my brother's birthday - way back in October - and when he opened it, he had no idea I'd made it... He thought I'd bought it from a shop 😂 He told me "I see you so rarely that every time I do, you've started a new hobby and gotten amazing at it!" 🤷 This particular hobby has been going on for about a year now, so I've had a bit of practice 😜 Absolutely still figuring out my style though, which is why every card you see from me is so different 💁 The fun avocado paper is from an @amytangerine paper pad ✌️ 🌟 #cardmaking #birthdaycard #handmadecard #handmadecards #nacho #puns #amytangerine #stamp #stamping #papercraft #diecutting #masculinecard #masculinecards #happymail

My parents recently rescued a new cat (swipe for pics of their two 🐈 - Leo is the big white chonk and Dusty is the ginger and white cat partial to a selfie) so I made them a card 😂 Really I just wanted an excuse to try and make these cute stamps look like their actual cats 🤫 They also have about 100 cacti growing in their conservatory so this card is pretty apt for them 🤷 I got to meet Leo yesterday, who is absolutely huge (his nickname is Big Cat already) but is terrified of everything. We managed to coax him out from behind the fridge for a short (and initially forced) cuddle, but he did actually relax a bit eventually and let us hold and stroke him, before spending the remainder of the evening hiding under the TV cabinet. Which is quite an odd place for him to hide as he absolutely DOES. NOT. FIT. 😂 You can't really see the shading on Leo on this card, but it is there in real life! I'm dead pleased with how this came out - the one thing I would change is the glitter on their eyes, but once I'd put it on there there's no going back 🙈 should have stuck with Glossy Accents, but never mind 💁 ♥️ #cardmaking #catsofig #cat #whitecat #handmadecard #handmadecards #winkofstella #alcoholmarkers #stamping #rubberstamp #colouring #papercraft #rescuecat

For some reason I was doing this weird self-flagellating Instagram theme last year where I could only post something I've made every OTHER post... Let's be real guys, all I do is work, eat, and make things 🤷 We're not constraining ourselves to arbitrary themes in 2020 🙄 Social media, and particularly Instagram, is a huge part of my work now (both day job and side hustle) so I'm gonna make this account the fun one 🙌 Here's a card I made for @luke_2290 for his birthday - I thought I'd give ink blending on the layered die cuts a try, and I really love that burger 💁 Masculine cards are oddly difficult to make so I was dead pleased with how it came out! I used @ranger_ink Distress Inks, @tonicstudios Black Gloss Mirror Card and the @trimcraft First Edition Grand Plans Paper Pad. 📷 Hiking up hills and mountains (especially while trying to keep up with Mike's family) is made all the more cumbersome while carrying a heavy DSLR bag. I often wonder why I'm carrying all that equipment around with me - especially while stumbling over roots in a forest or getting my boot stuck in a bog. But then I come out into a clearing and look around me and see a view like this, and all that effort seems worth it, for a second. 🌳🌲 I know this looks like a photo I took somewhere very exotic, but it's actually one I took this summer on a tiny island off the coast of Skye in Scotland. To get there, you have to drive for hours through mountains and round lochs, take a huge soaring bridge over onto the Isle of Skye, drive around a few more mountains and then take a small ferry across the sea. The island has one road, a hotel, and a distillery, and it was beautifully picturesque. So picturesque, it seems a damn shame to keep all my photos confined to a hard drive 🤷 #skye #raasay #scotland #highlands #scottishhighlands #hiking #canonm3
